On July 19, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering participated in the Candle Offering Ceremony at the Multipurpose Building of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. Associate Professor Sathaporn Khunpetch, Vice President of RMUTS Srivijaya, presided over the ceremony. The procession of the candles then proceeded to Wat Sra Kes for the offering to the monks. Associate Professor Surasit Rawangwong, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, led the ceremony. A total of six candles were offered, contributed by the Student Council of RMUTS Srivijaya, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and the Faculty of Business Administration.
