The Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), organized the “RUTS International Collaboration Camp 2026 (Civil Engineering Camp)” during 17–22 May 2026 at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. The program was held in collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, aiming to strengthen academic cooperation, promote cultural exchange, and enhance students’ international learning experiences.

The camp featured a variety of academic and cultural activities, including the “Ultimate Load Bearing Challenge” in civil engineering, the “Canting Batik Session,” and traditional Malaysian handicraft workshops. These activities provided students with hands-on learning opportunities, encouraged teamwork, and promoted cross-cultural understanding among participants from different countries.
Throughout the program, students gained valuable experience in engineering practice, communication in English, and multicultural collaboration. The initiative also contributed to building international academic networks and strengthening students’ readiness for global professional environments, in line with the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) to produce practice-oriented graduates with international competence.
